Grace Community began as a home Bible study with eight adults. We officially became a church on February 13, 1983 with 23 men, women and children. Today, we are ministering to nearly 1,000 people. Our Sunday morning attendance averages about 600.
We purchased 28 acres of land in 1985 to allow for almost unlimited growth. It was the vision of the founders of the church to let Christ build His church to whatever size He wanted.
We recently completed a two-story addition (dedicated in March 2005) that added almost 14,000 square feet of much needed space. It is utilized all through the week by various ministries of the church and other community serving groups. This addition brought the Grace Community facility to 35,949 square feet, including a Café, Fellowship Mall, Sunday school classrooms, a commercial-style kitchen, Promiseland nursery center, Graceland children's facility, and a multi-purpose room that serves as a worship and conference center, gymnasium, banquet/fellowship facility, and wedding reception room. God has blessed Grace Community with one of the best equipped ministry facilities in Orange County. Our wireless internet service is free using the password Jesussaves.
Grace Community was founded on a single vision: “To Reach Orange County for Christ.”
As a result of our vision, our evangelistic outreach to Orange County is the driving force behind the spirit and ministry of Grace Community. We constantly remind our church family that we are the ambassadors of Christ to the citizens of Orange County. We continually encourage everyone to share Christ with their families, friends, and neighbors.
